The Israeli-Dutch artificial intelligence startup Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its total valuation to $5 billion. This new round more than doubles the $2 billion valuation the company achieved when it last raised capital less than six months ago.
Insight Partners returned to lead the investment round, joined by existing participants Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners. Additionally, Salesforce joined as a new investor.
Rapid growth and evolution
Founded in early 2025, Wonderful experienced rapid expansion by initially focusing on a customer service artificial intelligence agent platform tailored for non-English-speaking markets. The company utilized forward-deployed engineering teams to integrate its technology directly into customer workflows across more than 35 countries.
Recently, the startup expanded its product scope beyond customer service. It introduced a platform called Wonderful AI OS, designed to coordinate and connect autonomous agents, workflows, and artificial intelligence applications with enterprise data and existing system integrations.
Strategic deployment
Leadership at the company emphasizes flexibility within the new operating system. According to Chief Technology Officer and co-founder Roey Lalazar, clients can adopt specific modular components, select preferred models for distinct workloads, and maintain full data ownership.
Wonderful plans to allocate the newly secured capital toward accelerating product development, scaling its forward-deployed engineering teams, and satisfying rising enterprise demand for integrated artificial intelligence infrastructure.
