Automated workflows and scheduled tasks introduced in Grok
Users can now set up recurring tasks and automated triggers within Grok, allowing the assistant to handle routine jobs on a schedule or in response to incoming emails. These workflows can be built from scratch, via chat prompts, or using pre-made templates.

Grok now supports scheduled and triggered workflows that allow users to automate routine tasks by writing instructions in plain language. Instead of starting from scratch every time, users can describe a job once, attach relevant files, connect external tools, and save it as a reusable automation.
Scheduling and Triggers
Automations can run on flexible schedules ranging from hourly checks to annual reminders, all aligned with the user's local timezone. Alternatively, email triggers can monitor an inbox for specific senders, recipients, or subjects. When a matching message arrives, the system runs the assigned instructions using the email content as context.
Execution and History
Whenever a workflow runs, the system opens a dedicated conversation, completes the requested work, and archives the entire process in a run history. Users can review past threads at any time or continue the conversation directly from where the assistant stopped. Notifications can be configured to deliver results via email, app alerts, or saved silently for later review.
Getting Started
Workflows can be created manually through the dedicated management page, by selecting from available templates, or by simply asking the assistant in chat to set up a recurring task. Scheduled tasks are available to all users, while email triggers require a SuperGrok subscription.
