What we collect

• Account data: email, username, avatar, bio.
• Usage data: articles read, resources downloaded, bookmarks, comments, likes, and — for Founding members — Community forum posts, replies, reactions, bookmarks, and poll votes.
• Preferences: interests, notification settings, theme.
• Push subscription endpoints (only if you opt in).
• Payment identifiers from Razorpay (we never see or store card/UPI details).
• WhatsApp number, consent version, and consent time when you join the Founding Membership waitlist or submit paid Founding Membership details.

How we use it

• Personalize your feed from your chosen interests.
• Deliver notifications you have enabled (in-app, push, email).
• Enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse.
• Provide and bill premium subscriptions.
• Contact Founding Membership waitlist members and administer paid membership, cohort updates, and WhatsApp group access.
• Privacy-friendly aggregate analytics (Umami — no cookies, no cross-site tracking).

WhatsApp community

We collect your number only after explicit consent, either for the Founding Membership waitlist or before paid Founding checkout. WhatsApp/Meta processes the contact and, if you join the group, your phone number or profile details may be visible to administrators and other group members. This consent does not cover unrelated marketing. A paid member’s number remains on their BREAF profile after cancellation for cohort administration until account deletion or an earlier correction or deletion request. Waitlist records are retained while the Founding offer is being formed or administered. You may ask us to correct or delete either record at any time.

Founding Community forum

The Founding Community (/forum) is separate from the WhatsApp group above and is visible only to signed-in Founding members. Your username, avatar, and Founding badge appear in the member directory to other Founding members. Anything you post — including replies, reactions, poll votes, bookmarks, and reports you file — is stored and visible to other Founding members and admins according to the space it was posted in; reported content and moderation actions are additionally visible to admins. If your membership lapses or is downgraded, your past posts and replies remain visible as your historical contribution (per "Your rights" below, you can still request deletion), but you lose the ability to post new content or browse other members' content until you renew.

What we never do

• Sell your data. Ever.
• Advertising trackers or third-party ad networks.
• Read your payment credentials.

Your rights

• Export your data on request.
• Delete your account, profile data, and any matching Founding waitlist record permanently from Settings → Delete account.
• Control every notification category individually.
